12 cups chopped pears (not sure if you peel them or not)
6 cups sugar
2 T. real lemon

Directions:
Directions:
Cook pears in a cup of water for 30 minutes. Add the sugar and cook for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Keep checking and stirring. Add the lemon juice. Stir well and pour into jars.
