1 3/4 cups of flour
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of shortening
1/2 cup of peanut butter
2 tablespoons of milk
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/2 tsp of salt
1 egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla
48 candy kisses
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Combine all ingredients except candy kisses in large bowl. Mix at low speed. Shape dough into balls and roll into sugar.

Bake at 375 on an un-greased cookie sheet for 10-13 minutes until golden brown.

Remove from oven and top each cookie with a kiss pressing firmly so cookie cracks around the edges.

Set aside to cool
