1/4 cup butter
1/3 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
pinch of salt
4 bananas, sliced in rounds or quartered
1/3 cup banana liqueur
1 teaspoon grated orange zest (optional)
1/3 cup dark rum
1 pint vanilla ice cream

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a large skillet over a medium-high heat; add brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, bananas, and orange zest (if using). Cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes or until bananas are tender.

Pour rum into a long-handled saucepan; heat just until warm. Remove from heat. Ignite with a long match, and pour over bananas. Baste bananas with sauce until flames die down.

Serve immediately over ice cream.
