1 lb sausages
1 c corn meal
1 c water
2 tsp butter
2 eggs
2 c milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sausage 10 min or until half done. In meantime boil water, milk and butter. Add corn meal and cook until thick. Beat eggs and add to mixture. Pour off all fat from sausages, arrange in baking dish (8X9) add 2 tbsp. drippings from sausages, or enough to lightly cover bottom of pan. Pour corn meal mixture over sausage and bake for 20 min at 375ºF. Turn upside down on platter and serve with gravy made from remaining sausage drippings.

Always pour hot mixture slowly into beaten eggs, not eggs into hot mixture.
