1-1/2 # ground beef
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1 tbsp. ketchup
1 egg
2 tsp. dry mustard
4 dashes Worcestershire sauce
1 cube beef bouillon, crumbled
Salt and pepper
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. olive oil

Gravy:

1 onion, thinly sliced
2 cups beef broth, more if needed for thinning
2 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet
8 dashes Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. cornstarch (optional)
Salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Meat mixture: Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, ketchup,egg, dry mustard, Worcestershire sauce, bouillon and salt/pepper. Knead until well combined. Form into 4-6 patties.

Fry patties in skillet with butter and olive oil. Cook over medium heat until no longer pink. Remove from skillet and pour off excess grease. Set aside.

Gravy: Add onions into skillet and cook until golden brown. Add beef stock. Kitchen Bouquet and Worcestershire sauce. Stir in cornstarch, if using. Stir and cook to reduce. Add sprinkle of salt/pepper.

Return patties to the sauce. Spoon sauce over patties. Let simmer for a couple of minutes.
