1 Bottle of dry red wine (cheap is fine)
3 Cinnamon sticks
1 Lemon (sliced thin, use a couple of slices per bottle of wine)
1 Orange (sliced thin, use a couple of slices per bottle of wine)
1/2 Cup Sugar
3 or 4 Cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Mix everything together, adjusting sugar as desired, heat until simmering and serve hot. This will keep you warm on cold winter evenings.

One bottle of wine is never enough! This was very popular in Germany when we lived there in the 70's.
