8 oz. avocado dip
8 oz. sour cream
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 package taco seasoning
1 can refried beans
1 bunch of green onions
1 303 can of chili
3 medium tomatoes
a few sliced black olives
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
Taco Chips or Fritos Scoops

Directions:

This is a beautiful dish when assembled well.
Spread avocado dip in the bottom of a clear glass pie pan.
Mix sour cream, mayonnaise and taco seasoning and spread on top
Mix refried beans and onions together and spread it on next.
Skim any grease off the canned chili and spread as the next layer.
Just before serving add the last three layers.
Chop fresh tomatoes finely and place in center, not quite to edge
Top tomtoes with black olives leaving a ring of tomatoes showing.
Put cheddar cheese in center, leaving a ring of the olives showing.
Chill and serve with Taco Chips or Frito's Scoops

When Brad was in school in Dallas his study group would each bring two of the ingredients for this dish. They would get together before they studied to assemble it. He brought the recipe home to us and it's became a family favorite.
