Ingredients:  
¼ c. Italian salad dressing (zesty is best)
1 lb. ground beef (or use ¾ lb. ground beef with ¼ lb. ground pork)
1 (28oz.) can crushed tomatoes (with jalapeños, makes it more spicy)
1 (10.5oz.) can onion soup with beef stock
1 soup can of water
2 (4oz.) cans diced green chilies
Then add your favorite hot sauce to taste
Cook about 1-2 cups of pinto beans until tender, ahead of time.

Combine all ingredients and let simmer for about a half hour, or more.
Recipe may be doubled.

First place winner for traditional chili at Chilly Chili Cruise - 2014. Recipe is from a lifelong friend, who met his Tasmanian wife when the U.S.S. Enterprise came to Hobart in October 1976. This is also when Steve and I met.
