Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Large iron skillet of corn bread ( I make in advance and dry in oven on very low heat)
1 loaf torn dry bread
3 eggs
2 cans of Chicken Noodle soup-( I use chicken broth)
2-onions chopped
1-head of celery chopped
Ground sage
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté chopped onion and celery in butter till soft.
While vegetables are cooking, put corn bread and bread in large bowl.
Add eggs, sage and 1 can broth/soup.
Add sage to taste, salt and pepper
Add onions and celery and mix very well adding more broth/soup as needed.
Don't add too much broth as to make it too wet, if you use this to stuff a turkey the turkey will add moisture while baking.
I (Mary) have added sausage to this and it's very good.
I have also used this stuffing for a Crown roast of pork adding the sausage, apples and nuts

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This recipe Mom got from Aunt Lorraine Chappell. It is the BEST stuffing.
Again no recipe and no measurements on the ingredients.
I will list as Mom made but tweak with what I do now.
