1/2 cup Butter
1 cup Sugar
3/4 cup Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
3 cups All Purpose Flour (Sifted)
1 Tbsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Salt
! tsp. ground Allspice
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. ground Cloves
1 cup Milk
3 cup Apples (Peeled and Sliced)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

In a large mixing bowl - cream Butter, 3/4 White Sugar, Brown Sugar until light and fluffy.

Blend in Eggs and Vanilla

In a separate bowl combine Flour, Baking Powder, Salt, Allspice, and Cloves and stir mixing well

On medium speed - Alternate adding flour and milk - Mix well after each addition.

In a greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish pour batter - Arrange Apples on top of batter

In a small bowl mix remaining sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle evenly on top of cake

Bake 40 - 45 minutes or until wooden pick is inserted in center of cake and comes out clean
