1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can diced tomatoes with juice
8 ounces tomato sauce
1 1/2 tablespoon seasoning mix (see recipe)
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon basil
2 cups water
1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef. Drain the beef and add the onions, cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the seasonings and stir to combine well. Add the diced tomatoes with juice, the tomato sauce, water and the uncooked macaroni. Stir to combine, cover and cook over medium heat until the macaroni is tender, about 20 minutes or so. Uncover and stir in the cheese just before serving.
