1 lb. ground beef
3 hotdogs
1 c. tomato sauce
1 med onion, chopped
2 T oil
2 T relish
1 T mustard
1/2 t vinegar
Chili powder
Hot sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Grind hotdogs. Add to beef, onion, and oil and simmer until lightly browned. Add relish, mustard, and vinegar. Simmer 5 minutes. Add tomato sauce and chili powder. Cook 15 minutes. Add hot sauce. Cook 4 hours on low. Add more tomato sauce if needed.

If you are familiar with Coney Island Lunch (the fine eatery) in Johnstown PA, then you can appreciate this hotdog sauce. I double the recipe and freeze. Watching Steeler games and eating these hotdogs reminds me of "home".
