1 -2 lbs stew beef
1 pkg frozen baby lima beans
1 pkg frozen corn
1 pkg frozen carrots
4 med to lg potatoes, diced medium
1 lg onion
1 14 oz diced tomatoes
1 6 oz can tomato paste
2 cups water and or 14 oz can beef broth
salt to taste
pepper to taste
sugar to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook beef in large dutch oven in a tablespoon or two of oil. Once brown, add rest of ingredients.Do not drain oil. Add enough water or broth to cover vegetables.
Simmer for several hours.
