4 guarts washed, sliced cucumbers
4 medium onions, sliced thin
2 tsp mustard seed
3 cloves garlic, separate the toes, don't peel
1/3 cup canning salt
1 1/2 tsp tumeric
1/1/2 tsp celery seed
2 tsp tumeric
3 cups vinegar



Directions:
Directions:
Wash and slice cucumbers, onions and peppers; add salt and cover with crushed ice. Let stand for 3 hours. Drain thoroughly; add sugar, spices and vinegar. Heat to boiling, put in washed and boiled jars and seal with boiled hot lids. Makes great crisp pickles and a relish.

These would be good refrigerator pickles too, keep for long time in jar in fridge.
