onions
2 1/2 cups vinegar
1 1/4 cups sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Boil hearts in salt water until tender. Slice heart and layer with onions in a container. Boil together 1/2 cup water, 2 1/2 cups vinegar, and 1 1/4 cup sugar. Pour over meat and onions. Make sure there is enough brine to cover the hearts.
