2 lb. raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
Salt & pepper
Butter
2 c. chopped onions
1 c. chopped celery
6 oz. can tomato paste
8 oz. can tomato sauce
4 cups water
1 med. sweet bell pepper
4-5 cloves of garlic, minced
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1 c. green onion tops (reserve some)
1 c. parsley, minced

Directions:
Directions:
Salt and pepper shrimp, then set aside. Sauté onion and celery in butter in a large skillet. Add tomato paste, tomato sauce and 4 cups of water. Cook for 1 hour, stirring occasionally (add water as needed if sauce becomes too thick). Then add other ingredients. Cook over low heat for 15 minutes. Then add shrimp for 15 more minutes. Serve over steamed rice. Garnish with green onions.
