2.5 pounds of ground meat
1 tablespoon Crisco
1 can beef broth
1 can chicken broth

First Seasoning Addition: 1 tablespoon paprika, 1 tablespoon garlic powder, 1 tablespoon onion powder, 1 tablespoon beef bullion, 1 tablespoon chicken bullion

Second Seasoning Addition: 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon red pepper, 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar, 1 packet Sazon Goya

Third Seasoning Addition: 1 tablespoon paprika, 1 tablespoon light chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon white pepper, 1/8 teaspoon red pepper, 2 tablespoon dark chili powder

Fourth Seasoning Addition: 2 tablespoon dark chili powder, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 tablespoon light chili powder, 1 tablespoon cumin, 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar, 1/2 cup water

Brown meat in Crisco; drain. Return meat to chili pot and add: beef and chicken broth – only add chicken broth as needed.

Bring to a boil and add first seasoning addition. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook 1 hour for cut meat, less grind.

Add second seasoning addition, cook for 30 minutes.

Add third seasoning addition, cook for 10 minutes and turn off.

Thirty minutes before serving, reheat chili, and ten minutes before serving, add fourth seasoning addition. Adjust for salt, and heat as necessary.
