2 egg whites (from large eggs) that are at room temperature
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/8 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup chopped nuts
6 ounce package of semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300º. Line a cookie sheet with a brown paper bag, cut to fit the cookie sheet. In a small mixer bowl add the egg whites, salt, cream of tartar, and vanilla. Beat to a soft peak. Slowly add the white sugar to this mixture and continue to beat it until it reaches a hard peak stage. Fold in the chopped nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto the brown paper bag and bake for 30 minutes.
