2 3/4 c Sugar
1c Shortening (Crisco)
3 Eggs
2 c Canned Pumpkin (not Pumpkin mix) #303 can
3 1/2 c Flour (sifted)
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp each Allspice, Nutmeg, Ground Cloves, & Cinnamon

Directions:

Cream sugar & Crisco, add 3 eggs (beat well) add pumpkin.

Sift together dry ingredients and add to egg mixture.

Bake @350º in loaf pan or 2 coffee cans half full until toothpick clean

I was visiting cousin Nancy Morrow Alford in McPherson, KS. Her
Mother "Aunt Dorothy" was there with this delicious bread and said her
son Billy loved it & now my sons love it also.
