Mix together in bowl:
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. alum

Heat to a boil:
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. salt
1 Tbsp. oil
food coloring

Stir liquids into dry ingredients. Knead until smooth. Store in airtight container.
