Ingredients:

1 ½ cups of Crisco Oil
3 eggs
2 cups of sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Soda
1 tsp baking powder
3 cups flour

3 c diced apples
1 c chopped nuts

Glaze:
1 cup of brown sugar
¼ cup milk
1 stick butter

Icing:
1 tsp mayo
1 tsp vanilla
2 c confections sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Bake at 350º oven for 60-80 minutes

Mix cake ingredients until smooth. Add apples and nuts and stir until mixed in. Pour in a well greased bundt pan.

Glaze:
Bring to a boil. Boil slowly for 4 minutes. Pour over hot cake in pan. Cool and unmold.

Ice after unmolded.

Ginger made this for Dad and he loved it. She makes a second batch of the glaze right before she serves it and puts it in a pitcher for guests to pour on the scoop of ice cream served with it. I added the Icing that I found on another Apple Bundt Cake recipe.
