1 bunch broccoli (approx 1 1/2 lbs), cut into bite size florets, stems removed
2 TBL olive oil
3 gloves garlic (I use a TBL of chopped garlic in the jar)
Kosher salt
Fresh Ground Pepper

Optional Toppings:
zest of lemon or squeeze of fresh lemon
toasted pine nuts
1/2 cup of fresh grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. If you wash the broccoli make sure it is dried THOROUGHLY. In a grocery bag with no holes. add broccoli, drizzle oil, salt, pepper & garlic. Shake completely to coat. Spread onto a foil or parchment lined baking pan. Cook approximately 20 minutes until the edges are crispy and slightly browned.
Top with any or all of the optional toppings. Also good without them.

If broccoli is washed and is damp this will come out soggy. Some buy prewashed florets or don't wash since bacteria will be killed at 450 degrees.
