5 or 6 medium Potatoes
3 or 4 large Carrots
1 lg Onion
1/2 tsp Salt
2 c Milk
2 tbsp Butter
1 heaping tbsp Flour
Salt and Pepper to taste
2 c grated Cheddar Cheese (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Dice onion. Chop potatoes and carrots in medium pieces. Place in large boiler and barely cover with water and cook until vegetables are done. Mix the flour with a small amount of milk in a cup and set aside. Add remainder of milk and butter to the vegetables. Bring to a boil. Stir in flour mixture to thicken. If using cheese add it now. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

This was my Grandma Bingle's recipe. Skip wanted the cheese so that was our addition to the original.
