"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 sixteen oz bags of frozen vegetables (any kind)
1/2 cup butter
4 chicken bouillon cubes or equivalent
4 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
2/3 cup water
6 tablespoons butter
One 6 oz box Stovetop Stuffing (Chicken or Your Choice)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook or steam the two packages of vegetables. Drain. Put in a greased 1 and 1/2 quarrt casserole dish. (I use a 9x13 casserole pan or a foil 9x13 pan.

Melt 1/2 cup butter and blend in 4 crushed chicken cubes. Blend in 4 tablespoons flour; add the 2 cups of milk and stir until smooth.

Pour over vegetables.

Heat 2/3 cup water and the 6 tablespoons of butter; mix in the stuffing mix. Spread over vegetables and bake 30 minutes at 350º

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
The sauce is like making a white sauce with the chicken flavor. I usually have to put more flour in to get it as thick as I can. (I know that for regular white sauce it is 1/4 cup butter to 4 tablespoons butter so maybe I got the recipe wrong. But the extra butter makes it taste good so I just add flour till I think it is a nice sauce.) Use your judgment. We got recipe from Sue Barnhart many years ago and it is delicious.
