2 eggs well beaten
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup sifted flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup thinly sliced apples

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs until foamy and lemon colored. Gradually add sugar and continue beating until mixture is thick. Add flour, which has been sifted with salt and mix until well blended. Add vanilla extract. Stir in the thinly sliced apples. Spread into a lightly greased 9 inch square cake pan. Bake in moderate oven 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool slightly and serve with sweetened whipped cream.
