3-4 lb chuck roast
1 packet dry ranch dressing mix
1 packet dry au jus mix
1/2 stick unsalted butter ( i also use salted)
6 pepperoncini

Directions:
Directions:
Place roast in crockpot
Cover with ranch and au jus packets
Top with butter and pepperoncinis

Cook on low for 8 hours

Don't be intimidated by the pepperoncinis. They are not hot and make a delicious flavor even if you remove them before serving. I have also used this same recipe with chicken ( you could substitute the au jus with a packet of chicken gravy but tastes the same with he au jus)
