1 1/2 to 2 lbs. bull meat or flank steak
1/3 c. soy sauce
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Slice meat 1/4 –inch thick across grain (if using flank steak, cut lengthwise with the grain into 1/4-inch strips). Combine soy sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix with steak strips and let stand about 15 to 20 minutes. Drain and insert toothpick in end of each piece; hang over rack. Bake at 150º F overnight or 12 hours until dried. Store in a tightly covered container.
