Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated onion
1/4 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
1 lb lean beef or lamb
1/4 cup chopped flat leaf parsley
1/4 cup mint
1 tbsp Turkish seasoning

Directions:
Directions:
Combine breadcrumbs, onion, milk, and egg in a mixing bowl. Stir to moisten breadcrumbs. Add beef, parsley, mint, and Turkish seasoning, and mix into a loose ball.

Gently pat mixture into 1-inch meatballs. Do not roll or pack them too tightly, or the meatballs will end up tough. Refrigerate 30 min.

Heat tbsp olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Remove meatballs from fridge and add to pan. Brown meatballs, using tongs to turn them so that they brown evenly and form a nice golden-brown crust (you can brown them even more if you like--this will add more flavor to the pan).

Turn down heat and cover to cook through.
