Brownies:
1/4 c. butter
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. coconut

Icing:
1/4 c. butter
2 tbsp. milk
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. icing sugar

Brownies:
1. Melt butter, & remove from heat
2. Add sugar, stir in beaten egg & add remaining ingredients
3. Put in greased 8" pan
4. Bake @ 350F for 30 minutes

Icing:
1. Combine butter, sugar & milk in saucepan
2. Bring to a boil & simmer for 2 minutes
3. Cool by setting pan in sink with cold water & stir to cool
4. Spread icing over brownies
