3 C Sugar
1 C white corn syrup
1/2 C water
2 egg whites
1 t vanilla

2nd Mixture
1 C sugar
1/2 C water

2 C chopped pecans
Directions:
Directions:
Boil sugar, corn syrup and water to a medium boil when dropped in water (also use candy thermometer), pour slowly over well beaten egg whites (beat until form a stiff peak), in second pan boil the 2nd ingredients and cook to hard ball stage (use candy thermometer). Pour slowly into first mixture, beating constantly. Add vanilla and continue to beat until begins to lose gloss. Add nuts.

Drop by teaspoon on waxed paper
