3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. pumpkin
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. dark syrup
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. pecan halves
1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
Directions:
Directions:
Mix together and pour into a 9-inch unbaked pie shell.
Bake in 425º F oven for about 40 minutes. (Knife should come out clean.)

This recipe of Grandma Franz has been a standard in our family as Christine could not have the regular pumpkin pie and I enjoy this combination.
