1 cup melted shortening (veg. oleo)
1 quart buttermilk
2 tsp. salt
1 - 15 oz. box of Raisin Bran
5 cups flour
3 cups sugar (scant)
5 tsp. soda
4 beaten eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Mix bran, sugar, flour, soda and salt in large bowl. Add eggs, shortening and buttermilk. Mix with spoon. Store in covered container in refrigerated and use as desired. Will keep in refrigerator for 6 weeks. Preheat oven to 375º and bake for 15-20 minutes.
