2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
4 c. flour
1/2 tea. baking powder
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tea. vanilla
2 tea. baking soda
1/2 tea. salt
1 cup sour milk
1 c. boiling water

Filling:
5 T. flour
1 cup milk
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tea. salt
1/4 cup shortening
1 tea. vanilla
1 stick butter

Cookie :
Creme together sugar, shortening and eggs. Add remaining ingredients aside from water. Add boiling water, mix well. Divide cookie batter into equal dollops onto cookie sheet. Bake at 375 approx 8 min (depends on size of cookie)

Filling:
Mix flour and milk together in sauce pan, cook stirring constantly until thickened. Cool completely.
Meanwhile, beat together remaining ingredients, add cooled mixture into bowl. Mix well.

Match evenly sized cookies together for sandwiches, spread cream into cookie and top with 2nd cookie.
