2 cups unsifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 cup lard
2/3 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, cream of tartar & sugar. Cut in lard using a pastry blender (like you would when making a pie). Then add in milk. Handle very little after milk has been added. Roll 1/4 inch thick cut biscuits. Bake 15-20 minutes at 475º until golden brown.
