2 cups crushed fruit washed, hulled. usually strawberries.
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 TBL butter
1 1/2 TBL lemon juice, fresh


Directions:
Directions:
Cut up strawberries and discard stems then place in food processer pulsing to crush leaving small pieces of fruit. Measure to make sure there is 2 cups.

Place in a 3 quart microwave safe glass bowl. Stir all the ingredient's together and cook uncovered on high in the microwave for 6 minutes until it starts to boil. Be careful when removing as mixture is extremely HOT. Use a metal or wooden spoon to stir getting the sides of the bowl. Place back in the microwave at 2-3 minute intervals. stop & stir again scraping sides. It usually takes 15-17 minutes total to make preserves. Cool on stove top or trivet. Let stand 10 minutes then stir. Place in small glass jars or freeze.

3 1/2 cups of whole fruit (usually strawberries) makes 2 cups of crushed fruit. Most often used strawberries but you can also use blueberry's, raspberries', pitted cherries or experiment with other fruits.
