1 cup crisco
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated
2 well beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
3 cups oats
1/2 cups chips (more is better)

Directions:
Directions:
Thoroughly cream shortening and sugar, add eggs and vanilla: beat well.
Add sifted dry ingredients then add oatmeal and chips. Mix well. Shape dough in rolls, wrap in wax paper and chill. Slice dough and bake on ungreased cookie sheet in a moderate over (350º)
