1 c. butter (Blue Bonnet Margarine)
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. soda

Topping:
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. sugar

Directions:

Cake:
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, sour cream, and vanilla. Beat well and gradually add sifted flour, baking powder, and soda. When mixture becomes too thick (if it does), stir with spoon until well mixed.

Topping:
Mix ingredients and sprinkle evenly between layers and over the top.

Place half the mixture in buttered 9 inch tube pan and sprinkle with half of the topping mixture. Place remaining dough on top and sprinkle remaining mixture on top. Bake in moderate oven (350º) for 1 hour or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
