Sourdough Pizza Crust Recipe

1 C of sourdough starter (unfed)
1/2 C hot water
2 1/2 C of flour
1 t of salt
1 t of active dry yeast

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all together till you have a firm ball ( if you are using a mixer use the hook attachment and on medium low speed).

Knead by hand for 1 to 2 minutes.

Allow to rise in a bowl coated with oil or cooking spray.

Lightly oil the dough ball then cover with plastic wrap and a dish towel.

Place bowl in warm place for 2 hours or till doubled in size.

Preheat the oven to 500 degrees.

Place dough on a floured surface and roll out the dough with rolling pin or your knuckles to desired thickness.

Put on baking sheet or pizza stone and add sauce and toppings.

Bake for 7 to 10 mins or till cheese is bubbly and crust is browning.

Before kneading, if ball is till sticky add 1/8 cup of flour.
