"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 ½ cups flour
¾ cup cocoa
1 tsp. Baking soda
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter, softened
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
48 Rolo candies
small bowl of sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º Combine the flour, cocoa and baking soda. Cream sugar and shortening. Add vanilla and eggs. Beat well. Add the flour mixture. Shape about 1 Tbsp of dough around each Rolo, covering completely. Press one side of each cookie into sugar. Place sugar side up on an ungreased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake 7 – 10 minute or until set and slightly cracked. Cool on the cookie sheet 2 minutes and then remove and cool completely on wire racks. Do not over bake.
Note: one package of Rolos has approximately 48 candies in it which is usually enough dough for more than 4 dozen cookies - unless you eat to much dough or Rolos.

"I see you're drinking 1 % (milk). Is that 'cause you think you're fat? 'Cause you're not. You could be drinking whole if you wanted to." ~ Napoleon Dynamite:
