1 deep dish or 2 regular Pet-Ritz pie crust shells
1 lb. ground beef
¾ cup chopped onion
1 – 1 ¼ oz. package Old El Paso taco seasoning mix
1 can (16 oz.) Old El Paso refried beans
1 jar (8 oz.) Old El Paso taco sauce
1 cup (4 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
Shredded lettuce
Chopped tomatoes

Preheat oven and baking sheet to 400 degrees. Partially bake pie crust for 10 minutes; cool. Reduce oven temp. to 350 degrees. In a large skillet, brown ground beef and onion; drain fat. Stir in taco seasoning mix. In a small mixing bowl, combine refried beans and ½ cup taco sauce. For deep dish crust, layer ½ of the seasoned meat mixture in bottom of pie crust and top with ½ of the refried beans; repeat layers. For regular crust, place ½ of the meat mixture in bottom of each crust; top each with ½ of the refried beans. Sprinkle cheese on top; bake 25 minutes. Remove from oven and cool 10 minutes. Top with lettuce, tomato and remaining taco sauce. Makes 6 servings
