Saltine crackers (broken in half)
2 sticks butter
1 cup, 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
large pkg. chocolate chips
cup (use your own judgment) pecans

Line baking sheet with foil
Spray with Pam
Line saltine crackers on the sprayed foil - one layer
Melt 2 sticks butter
Add 1 cup, 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
Boil 3 minutes
Spread butter and brown sugar mixture over the saltines
Bake 5 minutes at 350º
Add chocolate chips
Cover with foil and wait 3 minutes
Smear melted chocolate chips over the baked mixture
Sprinkle chopped pecans over the entire mixture
Freeze for 20 minutes
Break apart and enjoy!

At Christmas we had English Toffee that was good (& expensive!). Mary, one of my dear friends, gave us a tin of cookies that we loved. She had included a similar cracker cookie as this recipe. Then my thoughtful daughter in law, Michelle, sent me this recipe today, which I know we will love. It looks very good.
