Notes: This is a sweet and sour version of the traditional sloppy Joe. I am including this recipe because it has become a family favorite and it has become my signature dish when folks visit from out of state. Or, maybe they just know it is something I can make that doesn't take all day and they are usually hungry when they arrive. I serve these on Martin's potato rolls. By the way, I usually triple the recipe. This is also a great crock pot dish. And, one more thing - this recipe is not my original--I saw it in the local newspaper years ago and have not found any reason to alter it!
