1/4 cup flour
3 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 sticks margarine less 2 tbsp.

Filling:
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp. melted butter
1 egg
1 cup chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla extract
powdered sugar for dusting

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all the crust ingredients together. Form the dough into small balls, and place them into ungreased mini-muffin pans. Use a whisky glass to press the dough so that it looks like a tart shell. Filling: Mix all the filling ingredients together and fill the dough-ready mini-muffin pans half full. Bake in a preheated 350º oven for 20 minutes or until light brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

This recipe was given to me by a co-worker many years ago. She hated to bake, with the exception of this recipe. So for every party, these were what she was told to bring. One day, after years baking these, she decided to give us her recipe and demanded she never had to make them again!
