Ingredients:
4 pounds of chicken thighs
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon Hungarian sweet paprika
Sprinkle of sharp cayenne pepper
1 small onion
1 pint sour cream
1 tablespoon flour
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Take the butter and onion in a large fry pan and brown on medium flame; add the Hungarian paprika and dash of cayenne pepper. Add the chicken and cook slowly until lightly brown and the juices are "clear in color." (You might want to check with a meat thermometer to be sure chicken is cooked thoroughly.)

Take the sour cream and add mixing thoroughly with the pan drippings from the chicken. Once thoroughly mixed, add the four slowly stirring constantly while adding. Simmer slowly, do not boil, until it thickens slightly.

Personal Notes:
I usually add chicken broth to "thin out" the sauce if too thick.

I also like 1 green pepper sliced in my chicken paprikas, however Grandma made it only with onions.
