Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 c. lukewarm milk
3 pkg. yeast
1 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 tsp. salt (adjust down to taste)
6 eggs, beaten
9 c. flour
1/2 c. melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk and cool to lukewarm. Add yeast and stir until dissolved. Cream the sugar, shortening and salt. Add the eggs and mix. Add 2 c. flour, then the milk/yeast mixture and mix. Add remaining flour. Knead on a floured board approximately 10 minutes (I use my Kitchenaid with the dough hook). Place into a greased large bowl in a warm place and let rise until doubled in size (about 2 hours). Divide the dough into 4 parts. Roll each part into a circle and brush with melted butter. Cut into 8 wedged (or more for smaller rolls) shaped pieces. Roll each piece, starting at the large end and place on a baking sheet. Freeze immediately. When frozen, move to a sealable plastic bag for storage. Store in freezer until ready to use. When ready to bake, place rolls on a greased baking sheet, let rise 5- 6 hours, then bake at 350º F for 10-12 minutes or until golden.

Personal Notes:
These rolls are a Lawson family staple at Thanksgiving. Geri made them every year until Jean took over. These rolls have traveled I-70 and I-35 many times!
