2 cups sugar at half a pound butter room temperature two eggs 2 tablespoons cocoa powder 2 ounces red food coloring for 2 1/2 cup cake flour 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup buttermilk 1 teaspoon vanilla. I have a teaspoon baking soda 1 tablespoon vinegar

Cream sugar and butter until light and fluffy add eggs one at a time and Coco and food coloring together and sugar mixture mix well mix flour and salt then alternate with buttermilk add Ville Nola in small bowl combine baking soda and vinegar add to mixture and pour mixture into 38 inch round greased and floured pan and bake 20 to 25 minutes 350°
