Ingredients:

Cake Batter:
1 c. butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. flour
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. water
2 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sour cream

Icing:
1/4 c. butter
2 c. icing sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
7 tbsp. milk
4 tbsp. cocoa

Directions:

Cake Batter:
1. Bring butter, water & cocoa to a boil
2. Mix sugar, flour & salt together
3. Pour over chocolate mixture
4. Add eggs, sour cream & baking soda to chocolate mixture
5. Bake @ 375F for 25 minutes in 12"x18" pan

Icing:
1. Bring milk, cocoa & butter to a boil & pour over icing sugar
2. Add vanilla & beat well

This recipe came from Great Grandma Campbell. It is great to use for a single layer cake, or use double layer pans and you can freeze a layer to save for later. But if freezing do not ice the cake before freezing.
