1 lb. large pecan halves
1 egg white
1 tsp. cold water
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, beat the egg white with water until frothy. Add the pecans; coat well. In another bowl, mix the sugar, salt and cinnamon. Put the coated pecans into the bowl with the sugar mixture and stir until well-coated. Turn them onto a parchment-lined jelly roll pan. Bake in a preheated 225º oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes so they are evenly baked.

These nuts are perfect for the holidays. Our mother used to put them into every Christmas cookie box. They are great tasting and nice to serve at any occasion. You will probably want to make a double batch...people tend to go nuts over them!
