Ingredients:  
1 medium onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
2 Tbs. olive oil
1 lb. ground beef
1 can (14oz) stewed or chopped tomatoes
1 can (8oz) tomato sauce
1 can tomato paste
salt and pepper
1 tsp. sugar
8 oz. elbow macaroni
1c. cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions:
Directions:
1. Saute onion and pepper in olive oil until soft.
2. Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink.
3. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, pepper and sugar.
4. Cover and cook 30-35 minutes.
5. Add tomato paste and 1/2 can water. Cook an additional 15 minutes.
6. Cook macaroni as directed on package. Add to beef mixture.
7. Place in a casserole dish and top with cheese.
8. Bake at 350º until hot and cheese melts.
