2 ½ cups sugar
½ cup Karo syrup
½ cup water
2 egg whites, beat dry
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In medium saucepan over medium-high heat, boil sugar, syrup, and water until hard ball forms when dropped in cold water. Pour syrup into whites while beating on high. Continue beating until firm and standing in peaks. Fold in vanilla and nuts.
Spread in 9x9 pan or drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.
